Rules Committee approves agenda and minutes templates, defers conduct code.

City Council - Rules & Government Relations Committee · Meeting of February 12, 2026

EASTHAMPTON — The City Council Rules and Government Relations Committee approved standardized templates for committee meeting agendas and minutes. Councilors Jadczak and Kwiecinski voted unanimously to amend Rule 11L to require final and approved minutes be sent to the City Clerk within thirty days, with meeting templates clarified as suggested formats rather than mandates. The committee also voted 2-0 to add a Google Meet link space to meeting notices and establish Mayoral Communications as a standing agenda item before Public Speak.

The Code of Conduct for over 200 appointed board and committee members was deferred pending input from board chairs and department heads, and the Housing Crisis Task Force resolution discussion was postponed to allow Councilor Jamrog-McQuaid to attend.
