Rules Committee approves prior minutes, continues Code of Conduct draft work.

EASTHAMPTON — The City Council Rules and Government Relations Committee approved two prior meeting minutes and continued work on a draft Code of Conduct for appointed members of boards, committees, and commissions. Councilor JP Kwiecinski, Committee Chair, reported recommendations from the Council on Aging, including a three-consecutive-meeting absence threshold and guidance on social media use under open meeting law. The committee spent the meeting editing the draft but did not adopt it.

All votes were unanimous. The committee is scheduled to continue the Code of Conduct revision at its next meeting, date to be announced.
