Retirement Board Re-Elects Emerson to New Three-Year Term

Easthampton Retirement Board re-elected Chair Donald Emerson to a new three-year term through June 5, 2029, with three votes in favor and one opposed; Emerson abstained as the candidate. The board unanimously approved Warrant Number 4 for $697,256.75, the transfer of retirement deductions for four departing employees, a refund for Nicholas Crussana Sr. from the Sewer Department, and Lindsi Sekula, Executive Director of Easthampton Housing Authority, as a new member. Administrator Kymme Wood reported that the PERAC Audit for 2019 through 2022 closed with no findings, earning commendation from PERAC Executive Director Bill Keefe for exemplary system operations.
