EASTHAMPTON — Contributory Retirement Board approves warrant and multiple routine account actions. The board voted unanimously to process a mandatory pension forfeiture for Nicholas Tillman with a refund of accumulated deductions and federal tax applied, and approved Warrant Number 2 for $600,271.38. Chair Donald Emerson and all five members present also authorized account transfers for firefighter Nicole Thornton to Hampshire County Retirement Board and paraeducator Chloe Knoble to Northampton Retirement Board, approved a partial refund for Carrie Baker under accidental disability retirement, and enrolled new paraeducator Brian Merriam.
Board attorneys briefed members on the Governor's extension of the State and State Teacher's funding schedule to fiscal year 2039 with reduced appropriation increases.
