EASTHAMPTON — Public Safety Committee schedules Traffic Rules review for April 28. The committee unanimously approved prior minutes and advanced an action plan on East Street speeding concerns raised by resident Thomas Draudt, referring the matter to the Police Department and Department of Public Works for follow-up. Fire Chief Norris and Deputy Chief Benson presented a quarterly update on Fire and EMS services, requesting $127,500 for fiscal year 2026, primarily driven by finalized union contracts.
The committee deferred a full Traffic Rules and Orders review to a separate meeting set for April 28.
