EASTHAMPTON — The Easthampton Parks and Recreation Commission unanimously approved revised 2026 fee and rental policies, with Park Department representative John Mason proposing selective rate increases for larger events at Millside Park and Daley Field while preserving affordability. The commission approved a 30-day advance notice requirement for larger events and new cancellation language. Mason reported 2025 revenues were strong, with season passes outpacing day passes; Skate Park construction documents will go to bid in late March for June 1, 2027 completion; seasonal job postings have been submitted to HR; and a state site visit for the New City Playground LWCF Grant is scheduled February 4.
