Only Two of 11 Easthampton Property Transfers Show a Recorded Price
Eleven property transfers were recorded in Easthampton between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, according to the Hampshire County Registry of Deeds, but only two carried a sale price so far: $68,000 for 13 Keddy St. and $126,468 for 78 West St., the period's top recorded transaction. The median of those two priced sales is $97,234. Nine transfers, including two condominium units at Hampton East on Main Street and a same-surname transfer on Little Street, have no price on record yet, consistent with the registry's typical reporting lag. Banks, credit unions or mortgage-registration entities were a buyer or seller in at least five of the 11 filings.
