Easthampton deeds show mix of sales and bank-related transfers in September
Hampshire County Registry of Deeds recorded 15 Easthampton property transfers between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, but only seven carried a sale price. Among those, prices ranged from $30,000 to $583,920, with a median of $230,000. The period's top sale was a Riverview condominium unit at 17 Elizabeth Lane, which sold for $583,920 on Sept. 4. Several deeds named banks or credit unions as buyer, a pattern typically associated with foreclosure recordings, while others were trust transfers or homestead filings rather than conventional sales. With eight of 15 entries still missing price data, the period's overall market tone cannot yet be fully assessed.
