Easthampton records eight property transfers in late summer, but few reveal sale prices
Hampshire County Registry of Deeds records show eight property transfers in Easthampton between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only two disclosed a sale price: $239,600 for 7 Knight Ave and $479,200 for 12 Greenwood Court, the period's top recorded sale. The midpoint of those two figures is $359,400, though that is not a reliable median given the limited disclosure. Three of the eight recorded transfers were homestead declarations and one was a discharge of assignment rather than sales to new buyers, and Greenwood Court saw two separate recorded transfers the same week. With six of eight transfers lacking price data, the records do not support a clear read on market tone this period.
