Easthampton records mostly lien releases, not sales, in late-July filing period

Between July 24 and Aug. 22, Hampshire County Registry of Deeds recorded 14 documents tied to Easthampton properties, but only two were actual property transfers. One, at 2 Little St., sold for $70,000 to UMassFive College Federal Credit Union. The other, a family transfer at 26 Ashley Circle, did not disclose a price. The remaining 12 filings were non-sale documents: 11 certificates releasing Massachusetts estate tax liens tied to a single estate, and one solar easement agreement.
