Two recorded sales bracket a wide Easthampton price range in August deed filings
The Hampshire County Registry of Deeds recorded 11 Easthampton property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only two listed a recorded sale price: $245,000 at 5 Morin Drive and $459,900 at 11 Elizabeth Lane, Riverview Unit 11, for a two-sale median of $352,450. The Elizabeth Lane address had three separate deed filings during the period, and BankESB appeared as seller on two properties. Several other entries listed a homestead declaration, estate tax affidavit or certificate rather than a buyer. With price data unavailable for nine of the 11 transfers, the period's overall market tone cannot be determined from this dataset.
