Bank and Mortgage Company Sellers Dominate Easthampton's July Deed Recordings

Eighteen property deeds were recorded in Easthampton from July 3 to Aug. 1, 2026, but none disclosed a sale price, so no price range or median could be calculated this period. Fourteen of the 18 deeds -- about 78% -- listed a bank or mortgage company, including Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. and Freedom Credit Union, as the seller of record. Loudville Road and Lukes Way each had two recorded transfers; the Lukes Way pair involved the same family moving a property into and out of a revocable trust. Deed volume held steady across the four-week window, but the absence of price data and the prevalence of institutional sellers set this period apart.
