Board Defers Cost-Allocation Pact Pending Auditor Review

EASTHAMPTON — Board of Public Works defers enterprise fund accord pending auditor review. Chair Thomas Malsbury and the three-member board unanimously postponed action on a decade-old cost-allocation agreement, requesting the city auditor to provide detailed financial breakdowns of chargeback allocations before proceeding. Director Greg Nuttelman announced bid schedules for the Fort Hill Road Paving Project (opening May 18) and Water Department SCADA upgrades (April 27), plus supplemental appropriations totaling $714,610 for water meter replacements, Maple Street and Emerald Place water and sewer work, and wastewater-facility concrete repairs moving through the City Council process.
