Appointment Committee advances four mayoral nominees

EASTHAMPTON — The Appointment Committee unanimously advances four mayoral nominees to the full council. Councilors Jadczak and Markee voted to recommend Patricia Krusko to the Council on Aging, Jennifer Sandler to the Community Relations Committee, Ethan Abeles to the Manhan Rail Trail Committee, and Wendy Taylor-Jourdian as a full Planning Board member. The nominees include a Senior Tax Work Off participant at the Council on Aging, a UMass Amherst instructor in community organizing, a transportation planner and avid cyclist, and a Planning Board alternate moving to full-member status.

All terms expire in 2027 or 2028.
