EASTHAMPTON — Appointment Committee defers Michonski reappointment, seeks appointment process transparency. The Appointment Committee, chaired by Councilor Tamara Smith, deferred consideration of Marlene Michonski's Parks and Recreation Commission reappointment to February 3 after Michonski requested to attend in person. Discussing City Council President appointments to the BEES Committee and Rent Study Committee, the committee agreed to invite all such appointees to meet with the committee in future sessions to increase transparency in the appointment process.
