Board of Public Works receives Fort Hill Road construction bid

EASTHAMPTON — Board of Public Works receives $921,422 low bid for Fort Hill Road paving project. The low bidder, ET&L Construction, will handle paving of Fort Hill Road from East Street to Clapp Street and resurfacing and repairs to the Fort Hill Road Bridge over the Manhan River. Present: Chair Thomas Malsbury and member Gilson Hogan, with member Leya Strode absent.
The board also reviewed other infrastructure work: two proposals for the Water Department SCADA upgrade are under review with a contract expected within two to three weeks, and the Main Street TIP Project, scheduled for presentation on June 3, will address MassDOT design comments.
