BEES Committee Approves Expansion to 11 Members
BEES Committee · Meeting of February 18, 2026
EASTHAMPTON — The BEES Committee voted unanimously to expand from seven to 11 voting members, restructuring the body to reduce mandated dual appointments across city boards. The new composition includes eight at-large appointees by the Mayor subject to City Council approval, two members from other city boards or commissions, and one city councilor appointed by the City Council President. The committee also confirmed its annual report to the Xerces Society is due May 31, with Chair Sean Abbot assigned to access the Xerces account and inventory BEES City USA signage around town.
