EASTHAMPTON — Nashawannuck Pond Committee advances shoreline restoration project with July 14 launch date. With four of five members present, Paul Davis and Beth Tiffany agreed to monitor restoration work by Saladino LLC, bid at $69,369.59, with completion expected by week's end. The project is funded through Community Preservation Act dollars, the committee account, and consultant balances.
The committee also reported completion of an eight-acre weed treatment on July 7, paid by Friends of Nashawannuck Pond at $5,077.44. Paul Davis is developing a pond management plan seeking $20,000 in FY27 funding.
