Housing Authority hires Lindsi Sekula as executive director after contested search process.
Housing Authority · Meeting of March 17, 2026
Easthampton Housing Authority hires Lindsi Sekula as executive director at $100,000 yearly. The vote passed 3 to 1, with Commissioner Christopher Nodurf opposed and Commissioner Elizabeth Burnham abstaining, as Chairperson Mary Church, Commissioner Ruth Jennison, and Commissioner Karl Prahl voted yes. The hire is subject to state office approval or a May 18, 2026 start date, whichever comes first.
Acting Executive Director Sharon Kimble agreed to remain in the position pending the new director's approval. Commissioners raised concerns about search committee transparency and tenant organization participation, though the board moved forward after determining no specific state regulations were violated.
