Energy Advisory Committee approves February minutes, reviews staffing changes.
Energy Advisory Committee · Meeting of March 19, 2026
EASTHAMPTON — Energy Advisory Committee approves prior minutes and reviews staffing transitions. Sustainability Coordinator Sophie Protano reported that Energy Advocate Hannah Davis will depart March 26 for a position with Abode Energy Management; the committee voted unanimously to pursue grant funding for a part-time Solar Advocate role rather than full-time replacement. The committee will coordinate with city leadership to allocate a $125,000 Green Communities grant either toward a $147,710 high school lighting upgrade project or a $30,000 contribution to an E-Transit van purchase.
The Senior Center weatherization project will move forward with full Mass Save coverage; heat pump installation was deferred.
