EASTHAMPTON — Energy Advisory Committee approves prior minutes, charts outreach programs. Chair Jamie Paquette led the five-member panel through updates on the Electrify Easthampton/Northampton program, which has enrolled six households under a $500,000 Mass CEC grant offering $4,000 per individual plus $8,500 in state incentives. The committee scheduled a public event for March 7 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Library Annex featuring demonstrations of electric vehicles, heat pumps, solar panels, and other green technologies.

Stephen Linsky volunteered to track emerging climate legislation and report to the committee; Alexander Barron pledged to draft an op-ed and assist with letters to city officials on climate policy.
