Easthampton development commission approves meeting minutes and receives Mass DOT grant. The Economic Development and Industrial Commission unanimously approved April minutes and authorized Chair Gwynne Morrissey to forward a draft letter for a grant application related to Valley Bike Share bicycles. Planning Director Allyson Manuel reported the town has received a Mass Department of Transportation grant for the balance of bike share bicycles, with updates on Downtown Wayfinding initiatives, upcoming grant applications, and the Housing Choice Community designation application.

The commission discussed plans to revise the local wetlands ordinance, repealed in the 1990s.
