Easthampton City Arts Public Art Subcommittee approves February minutes and updates public art initiatives. Chair Tracey Eller reported on Creative Sector Week, a Mass Creative-sponsored event at the State House celebrating Commonwealth artists and advocacy. The Community Mosaic Sculpture RFP, released February 26th, will send applicant materials to the committee for April review.
The Have A Heart For Public Art Brunch will be held at Glendale Ridge Vineyard for $385 space rental, with committee member Marcia coordinating available dates May through September with co-owner Mary Hamel. The Power to the People utility box project, scheduled for April, will include user directions and coordination on mechanical removal and installation.
