Easthampton School Committee reorganizes for 2026-2027

Easthampton School Committee completes January organizational meeting with unanimous votes. Chair Laura Scott and Secretary Eric Guyette were elected and appointed by the five-member committee present; Scott was sworn in by City Clerk Mary Ann Giza. The committee approved assignments for the Finance Subcommittee (Megan Harvey, Bonnie Atkins, Laura Scott) and Policy Subcommittee (Eric Guyette, Linda Markee, Sam Hunter), along with appointments of Sam Hunter as CES Board Member (transitioning to Linda Markee after conclusion of a hiring panel), Eric Guyette as Wellness Committee Representative, and Bonnie Atkins as Senior Center Ad Hoc Meeting Representative.
The committee approved the 2026 and 2027 meeting schedule, maintaining Tuesday meetings at 6:00 P.M. at 50 Payson Avenue, 2nd Floor.
