Senior Center Building Committee selects Park Street as primary site.
Senior Center Building Committee · Meeting of February 9, 2026
EASTHAMPTON — Senior Center Building Committee unanimously designates Park Street as primary site. Chair Daniel Rist reported the 64-acre parcel cleared vetting by guest Allyson Manuel and staff COA Director Cynthia Tarail; none of four city-owned candidate sites showed disqualifying issues, but Park Street ranked highest. Procurement official Mike Owens outlined an RFP for a feasibility study including land, utility, wetlands, soil, and traffic analysis, with a cost ceiling and option to retain the designer.
Rist has submitted a budget request to the mayor; an architect selection committee will be formed by March 30.
