EASTHAMPTON — Insurance Advisory Committee unanimously admits police representatives, mulls health plan shift. The panel voted in Scott Gove and Ryan Murphy to represent police unions on February 18, then heard Emily Russo present the Hampshire County Group Insurance Trust's proposal for FY27 renewal: a 12.48 percent premium increase paired with plan design changes including new deductibles and copay increases. The Trust executive committee backed this Option C approach, with a full Trust vote scheduled for February 25; a follow-up committee meeting is set for March 2 to review the outcome and discuss impact bargaining with the unions.
