Easthampton policy panel approves PROTECT Act policy, sending it to full Committee. The School Committee Policy Subcommittee voted unanimously (3-0-0) to advance the revised PROTECT Act policy to the full School Committee after reviewing sections aligned with district structure. Superintendent Michelle Balch, EdD also reported plans to meet with building principals to ensure in-school practices align with student travel policies, enabling all students to participate in field trips.
