Conservation Commission approves prior minutes; continues wetland application to February.

Conservation Commission · Meeting of January 26, 2026

EASTHAMPTON — Conservation Commission continues wetland boundary application. The Easthampton Conservation Commission unanimously voted to continue a Request for Determination of Applicability for 20 and 30 Ballard Street to February 9, citing snow cover preventing field delineation work. Chair Julianne Busa and six commissioners also unanimously approved prior meeting minutes.

Conservation Agent Eva Gerstle reported that the Boruchowski Parcel natural heritage filing should receive a completeness determination by February 19 and that Smith College will conduct a trail survey in the coming months. The commission reviewed compliance status on 23 active permits, including housing developments, solar projects, and infrastructure improvements, with Gerstle confirming that erosion controls at the Norwich Properties 35 Pleasant Street development were generally adequate following a site visit.
