School Committee · Meeting of May 12, 2026

Easthampton School Committee approved routine business and heard Superintendent Michelle Balch present two budget scenarios tied to a June 9 Proposition 2½ override vote. The committee unanimously accepted $200 from Easthampton Savings Bank toward an Electronics Recycling Event and $890 to split between Mountain View School and Easthampton High School staff recognition accounts. In other action, the committee unanimously declared surplus IT equipment for disposal, consolidated the district's Chapter 44 Lost Book Revolving Accounts under Mountain View School Elementary, and approved a second one-year renewal of the Durham School Services transportation contract for FY27.
