Easthampton Faces Wall-to-Wall Public Meetings June 15 Through 17

Sunday's calendar is clear, but residents will want to mark their schedules: a dense run of public meetings begins Monday and runs straight through Wednesday, touching everything from the school budget cycle to city planning.

COMING UP

Five public bodies are scheduled to meet on Monday, June 16, alone: the Council on Aging, the Economic and Development Industrial Commission (EDIC), the Cultural Council, the Planning Board, and the School Committee. The following day, Tuesday, June 17, brings the Board of Public Works, City Council, the Parks and Recreation Commission, and the Historical Commission — essentially a full week's worth of local government compressed into two evenings. The City Council Finance Committee meets one day earlier, on Monday, June 15, per the town calendar.

On the community side, the Easthampton Public Library is hosting a drop-in Technology Help session on Wednesday, June 17 (and again June 24), and a GoDigital Class focused on Privacy and Security on the iPhone is set for Friday, June 26.
