EASTHAMPTON — Conservation Commission approves minor modification to 385 Main Street housing development. The Community Builders project adjusted emergency access plans, with Commissioner Daniel Buttrick moving approval and Commissioner Jay Ryan seconding; the motion passed unanimously. The commission also continued a wetland boundary determination for 20 and 30 Ballard Street to January 26 to allow spring soil sampling, and instructed Conservation Agent Eva Gerstle to submit a Natural Heritage Environmental Species Program application for the multi-phase Boruchowski Parcel trail restoration project.
The commission reviewed 21 active permits and recommended ending its invasive management contract at Echodale West Orchard pending a spring site visit.
