Property Committee Approves Two Eversource Utility Petitions

Easthampton Property Committee unanimously approves two utility pole petitions from Eversource Energy. Chair JP Kwiecinski and the City Council Property Committee approved an Eversource petition on Greenwood Court for a new pole and transformer to serve the physical plant building independently of the ice rink's shared power supply. A joint petition from Eversource and Verizon for a pole on Nipper Avenue will serve a new residential development.

Eversource has voluntarily withheld installation work pending completion of the council's review process.
