Easthampton Planning Board Continues 35 Pleasant Street Permit Hearing to September 16
EASTHAMPTON — September 2, 2025 — Easthampton Planning Board continues 35 Pleasant Street special permit to September 16, awaiting Conservation Commission action. The board voted unanimously Tuesday to defer a final decision on Kevin Perrier's residential special permit application, filed under Sections 3 and 12 of the zoning ordinance, while the Conservation Commission reviews a revised stormwater plan that replaced proposed infiltration trenches with dry wells. Chair Jesse Belcher-Timme directed the board to use the September 16 meeting to develop draft permit conditions regardless of whether the Conservation Commission has issued its decision by then, saying the board should "put together a draft decision or something like that." Member Kenneth Iavecchia, recently elevated to full membership, cautioned that one or two conditions may still need to be deferred pending the ConCom outcome. The board also welcomed Wendy Taylor-Jourdian as a new associate member.
