Easthampton Fire Department Schedules Blood Drive for June 29 at Payson Avenue

The Easthampton Fire Department announced Monday it will host a community blood drive on June 29, teaming up with the Baystate Health Blood Donor Program to collect donations at the Payson Avenue station.

The fire department will hold the blood drive from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on June 29 at Station 1, located at 32 Payson Avenue. The event is being run in partnership with the Baystate Health Blood Donor Program. Residents looking to donate should plan to arrive during the four-hour window; additional registration details are available at the town's official news flash page at https://www.easthamptonma.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?aid=699.

A packed slate of municipal meetings is on the calendar for Tuesday, June 16, including the Council on Aging, the Easthampton Development and Industrial Commission, the Cultural Council, the Planning Board, and the School Committee. Wednesday, June 17 brings the Board of Public Works, City Council, Parks and Recreation Commission, and Historical Commission meetings. Also on June 17, the Easthampton Public Library offers a Technology Help drop-in session; a second Technology Help session is scheduled for June 24.
